I’m reading West Side Story in English class, and I am suppose to read the whole thing by tomorrow but I really don’t have the time. Can anyone summarize it for me so I know what it’s about, and what happens?

I am like 3 pages away from Chapter 10. Any one have any encouragement to help me get through the book before March 31st?

I read the first chapter of west side story and the only part that I got was the beginning where he was telling about the fight that there would be. It was too hard for me to follow because I just wasnt that interested. Can you explain what this chapter was about?

They already released a 75th anniversary edition movie set, but what about the book that started it all? All they have out in the book stores are crappy paperback editions. It would be really nice to have a hardcover collectors version.

I watched West Side Story today and was wondering, why is Maria not as upset about Bernardo’s death. She was more worried about Tony but not Bernardo after the fight. Why is this? Also at the very end she walks off but she looks really triumphant, and I don’t understand why. Please help I don’t understand this.
